The Drake Law Firm, which was recently named as a Premier Law Firm of 2017 by Newsweek, is offering a $1,500 Superhero Scholarship to a high school senior or college student that is enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution in 2017-2018. “We all have been given assistance to achieve our education and career dreams, and I want to pay it forward and help a student achieve their own dreams and further his or her educational aspirations,” said Benjamin Drake, founder of the Drake Law Firm.
The scholarship, for which a minimum GPA is not required, will be given to a student who submits a video (30-120 seconds) explaining who inspires them — the superhero or superheroes that have influenced their education. “Also, tell us how this scholarship will help you reach your goals in an essay expanding on the content of your video, which must be 400-1,000 words,” added Drake.
Videos should be uploaded to YouTube, Drake Law Firm Superhero Scholarship should be mentioned in the video and tagged, and when filling out the scholarship application include the YouTube link. Applications are due by December 31, 2017, and the scholarship will be awarded on February 1, 2018.
